Kayla has a strong affection for storytelling and an aptitude for translating complex topics into sharp messaging. While her career began more than a decade ago in strategic communications, an insatiable interest in everything health inspired her to return to school to study disparities research and behavior theory.

From a global health research giant to a small evaluation shop, Kayla has honed her skills in writing, interviewing, and project management while working for many diverse organizations. Before joining Minerva in 2020, Kayla tried her hand at political organizing and grassroots advocacy with Senator Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign.
